《香港參與國家改革開放志》是《香港志》首部專題志，於2021年12月出版，回顧香港自1979年參與國家改革開放歷程至2017年間，40多年來兩地相互促進發展的過程，為了解和研究香港與內地互動合作，提供準確而全面的參考文獻。

專題志分上下兩冊共十九章、兩個附錄、一篇大事記，逾100萬字，內容以經濟、金融為主，旁及社會及文化範疇，由85位專家學者及相關機構覆核稿件及提供寶貴意見，22位審稿專家包括學者、政府前官員以及各領域翹楚，嚴格把關，為了解和研究香港與內地互動合作，提供準確而全面的參考文獻。《香港參與國家改革開放志》榮獲「2021年度好書特別獎」。
